Storm: il Mio Conforto

The painting "Storm: il Mio Conforto” was released on November 2, 2015. To translate, the Italian saying “il Mio Conforto” means My Solace. Art is solace; art is vision. I found solace in what I paint. It is an attempt to discover who I am at the moment. With tears came solace and surrender, pardon and courage... my ability to restore myself. This particular painting is different from the rest of my work because it's winter themed. I felt the urge to capture my favorite time of the year, while expressing myself within the emotion of the piece. With each painting, I try to push myself outside of my boundaries to improve my craft. I’m grateful to God for giving me the ability to define myself through forms of art that cannot be contorted.
